We worked on the computer for a while and then Kelcy wanted to play chess. We could not access Chess.com (possibly because his internet is restricted) so we played a game on the physical board. I taught him strategy and how to think ahead.
Jonathan worked on learning to draw complex pictures using a computer website that helps him to follow along. He was able to effectively draw statues from Chile, and then found them on Google Earth.

Jonathan was excellent today. He developed computer skills by selecting, backing up, and following directions supplied by artists on the web. We drew several pictures and used the computer as the teacher.

Kelcy was cooperative and did a good job working through Teams and logging in to Office 365. His tablet is quite slow so the process was sometimes difficult.
Kellan took pictures of all pages in one of his hand made comic books so that we could upload them to teams and build an electronic book using PowerPoint. The goal is to teach him how to upload files and modify them to suit the format needed.

Kellan was cooperative but initially resistant to working on the computer. As a compromise, we agreed to take the first step in building an electronic book in PowerPoint by taking pictures of the pages in his book and will work on uploading them during our next session.
Dutch has completed his presentation slide deck to pitch his charter fishing business opportunity. We added notes today and printed the slides for him to take home. We will begin practicing the formal presentation next week.

Dutch was extremely tired during our session but we were able to discuss the final presentation and start adding notes for each slide. This will help him to deliver the presentation effectively. We will work on it during our next few sessions.
Kip continues to work well through Teams. We practice connecting and doing puzzles or solving problems while right down the hall from each other. This process is giving him practice so that he can be proficient from home.

Kip enjoys working through the computer and he is doing well with developing his basic skills. He can now login to Microsoft Office 365, Teams and Outlook. He can answer questions, do problems, draw, and play games through his tablet.
Dutch exported pictures from his phone into Teams. From there he copied and pasted them into his presentation. These pictures replace other weaker ones and will be more impressive to potential investors.

My understanding is that Kellan had to stay remote because of Covid-19 exposure in his family. I was advised that he did not have an available computer at home to do a remote session.

Today Jonathan worked with me to connect on Teams and use the white board to communicate and draw. we played a few word games as well. He has the login information and is prepared to work remotely if needed.
Today Kip signed in to Office 365 by himself and worked on Teams and Outlook. He sent an email to his mom on Outlook and worked with me on the electronic whiteboard.
