Today, Dutch continued to build his PowerPoint presentation for the Dreamcatcher Charter Fishing Business idea. He added a slide to summarize the safety features and services provided. He also uploaded a picture of himself holding up fish through Microsoft Teams.

Dutch was cooperative as we worked on the computer in the science area. He uploaded photos, added slides and typed key information into his presentation. Next step is to add financial information to the PowerPoint.
Today I showed Kellan how to login to Office 365 and to access his email (Outlook) and Teams. He sent a test email to me, his mother, and another teacher here at the Batt School. I wrote down and gave Kellan the instructions to access Office 365 and his email for future reference.

Kellan worked with me to learn to access Office 365 and his email. I also showed him Teams. Kellan complained of being tired very often during our session. He is cooperative and willing to write or type when asked. He will need repetition for the Office 365 training.
Today Kellan created a comic book on the computer by drawing pictures in Paint, snipping them and saving them. Then he copied and pasted the pictures into a PowerPoint presentation. He saves files and types the names.

Kellan enjoys using the computer to create comic books. He remains defiant at times and is often rude. When asked about it, he always tells me he is just joking! My sense is that he has had a rough time at home somewhere along the line. That said, he likes working with me and we get along great. I continue incorporate things he is interested in to help motivate him to learn more computer skills.
Today Kelcy learned to access Office 365 which provides access to his Batt School Email in Outlook, and to Microsoft Teams so that he can work with his teachers remotely. We tested the connection today and worked on the whiteboard through Teams today.

Today Kellan used paint to create four pictures with captions. He then used the snip tool to save the pictures to a computer desktop and import them to a PowerPoint presentation.

Kellan was very cooperative and worked well with me today. We used my laptop to learn to control the mouse to draw, drag, drop, cut, paste, snip, save as, and add text. He made a PowerPoint presentation with 4 slides. He asked why it has been so long since we worked together, and that he enjoyed learning about the computer.
Dutch worked on his PowerPoint presentation which we are maintaining in Teams. We added pictures and new slides to explain contact information and charter prices.

We worked on the computer in the main lobby where Dutch uploaded pictures and created new slides to illustrate his proposed charter fishing business. He is progressing well!
Today Sebastian was wearing a David Bowie tee shirt but did not know who he was. We looked up information about him and played one of his songs. We continued learning how to use "Paint" programs and found a free website to use.

Christopher enjoys working in photoshop and paint programs on the computer. We shared screens and created logos and added effects to pictures. Sofia was there in the background at times and was helpful!
Today was my first meeting with Kelcy, and I was impressed by his polite and respectful demeanor. We discussed computer applications that he has worked with, and then talked about new applications he can learn. He found an online paint program and began using it today.

Today Andrew did not have his computer at school. We were still able to begin creating a PowerPoint presentation on my computer. We imported pictures and set up the title and episode for his movie.
