Lesson Comments
Sophia is abandoning the project we started because her father does not like the mobile salon business idea. We spent the time discussing alternative ideas including the development of a tutor matching service in coordination with the Batt School. She would create the website and scheduling module (Earn a fee for each match) and The Batt School would provide tutors.

Bobby was very good today. That said, he still struggles remembering some basic rules on percentages and proportions. We will continue to review these later this week.
Today we updated Dutch's business plan using Microsoft Excel. He did not bring his computer today, but was able to see everything on his phone through the TEAMS App. We finished the modeling and projected his monthly and annual earnings. Next step is to use PowerPoint to make a slide presentation summarizing his business.

Andrew remains focused on Legos and was resistant to working on the spreadsheet we started. I am building confidence with him though, so I expect progress going forward.
Today we reviewed PERT practice problems that Bobby previously had difficulty with. I reminded Bobby that he needs to spend some time reviewing these on his own as well. Problems involved equations for a line (Y=mx+b), algebra requiring distribution, and proportions.

Bobby is progressing well with most math concepts and should soon be ready to take the exam (Math portion). We looked at a few Reading questions (because he said he has not seen any) and I think he needs some help to prepare on this too! Can we get his English teacher on this?
