I think Bobby is almost to the point that he can pass the MATH portion of the PERT Exam. I asked him today and he said no teachers are working with him on the reading & writing sections? I think he should practice these too! I can help if we don't have an English teacher who can.
Today Bobby worked on Example problems for the PERT Exam coming up soon. He continues to make progress and I expect we will schedule the exam shortly.

Bobby occasionally gets sloppy when doing problems causing him to arrive at the wrong answer. That said, he has improved dramatically with his ability to handle algebra questions. I will work with Nicole to schedule his PERT exam soon.
Today we discussed using Microsoft Excel to add numbers, find the highest and lowest number in a range, multiply and divide numbers, change fonts and colors, square and take the square root of numbers.

Ben had a difficult time connecting on Teams. His father was there at the beginning to help get started. Once connected, I tried to show Ben a spreadsheet and explained how certain functions worked. Much of the time he put his head down on the desk. He was also very rude telling his father "He is supposed to be teaching me computer but he doesn't know anything about computers". I tried very hard to connect with Ben but he isn't responding to me at all. I would suggest discontinuing future classes.
Today we worked on algebraic formulas for a line (y=mx+b) We did several problems and worked on the
whiteboard. Several questions on the PERT exam relate to this concept.
