I worked with Matthew to explore the properties of tangent lines to circles. I explained to him how the radius to the point of tangency always forms a right angle. We did some problems to practice that relationship. There was no assignment.

The plan was to finish introducing the various subtopics and cases involved in calculating angles and segment lengths of secants and circles. I would have explained how the calculations depend on whether the secants intersect inside or outside of circles. I would have then gone through several practice problems to demonstrate the formulas for each of the cases. Unfortunately, Matthew was not available for instruction either in person or virtually.
