In this activity, Rory focused on systems of linear functions. This session used the three methods to solve systems: graphing, linear combinations and substitution.
I had Rory open his 3-point perspective file. I completed a review of perspective before we began. Rory began the process by opening the left-cube folder, creating a new folder labeled guidelines, and creating the the perspective lines for the set of cubes. He created another folder and labeled it 'colors' and used the polygon lasso tool to isolate areas to be colored. He repeated the process for the right side and saved his work.
Rory and I reviewed what we have read thus far. We discussed the quote that Rory selected for his first double journal entry. We then continued reading the book. We defined difficult vocabulary using context clues. We then looked for textual evidence to support his future double journal entries.
