Rory and I talked about the economic impact of the COVID-19 situation. We reviewed different aspects of the stimulus package and how the US economy is feeling the impact of everything happening when it comes to the stock market, unemployment, and GDP. We used the last 10 mins. to watch an episode of Shark Tank and talk through whether it's a good business deal for the Sharks and entrepreneur.

Lesson Comments
He had his camera on, but it was pointed up at the top of his bed post/wall, so I couldn't see his face. He was clearly lying in bed, pretty disengaged, but I got him to have SOME dialog with me, and I'm happy he showed up :)

TEAMS: Mapping -
Rory and I started a unit on maps. We started with a review of the basic characteristics of a map (compass rose, scale, grid, etc.) and discussed how they are read, what they indicate, and how this information is important. We discussed relative location and reading a grid. Rory was asked to find locations on a map using these map features.
