Bella watched a video on YouTube wherein a nurse details what it is like to be a nurse in the United States.

We used this video to discuss a variety of topics. Those topics included: a) tips for watching videos in a foreign language [slow speed, add captions], b) speech shadowing [we practiced this], c) listening to native Spanish speakers speaking to other native speakers, d) vocabulary from the video.

Bella then wrote a paragraph about the video. She did an excellent job at her first attempt. We revised the paragraph together.

Today he took his practice exam and we cleared up doubts about his final exam by completing exercises from the workbook.

Today he took his final exam, which consisted of a written part and an oral part in which pronunciation and agreement of the answers were evaluated.

Bella and I quickly reviewed some key concepts.

She then took her final exam.

She did a good job of staying focused during the test. It was evident that she had studied for the test in the materials that she brought with her (practice essays prepared and written, etc.).

Bella and I reviewed her Final Exam. She worked on corrections for her test.

She practiced explaining to me how to conjugate a verb in the future and in the conditional.

She also reviewed writing paragraphs in the future, subjunctive, and past.

Bella and I spoke about the future and conditional conjugations.

We read from an online resource how to form the conjugations. She then practiced teaching me how to form the conjugations.

Lastly, she wrote a paragraph in the future tense.

Matthew had finished studying his Spanish so we discussed his plans for college and the timelines.
