Lesson Outline
During the first hour, we had a grammar review using the Amsco Grammar book for French. We reviewed: direct and indirect objects - their placement in a sentence and the translation; possessive and demonstrative pronouns - How to use them and their translation. During the second hour, Abby completed reading in French chapter 7 of Phantom. She translated; and summarized, in French, the developments of the plot. She then answered all the questions at the end of the chapter.

She then answered the 30 questions at the end of the chapter. She did very well. For the remaining time she and I spoke, in French, about the places she has visited in France. Abby’s pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and fluency has improved greatly. Abby is able to comprehend 90% of the spoken and written French she has in her French lessons.
