Then compare and contrast Canada vs US - Germans' opinion of the differences between Germany and both countries video in German with English subtitles. Discussion to continue tomorrow.

Discussed the four different road trips and Ben picked his favorite area - West Germany - and wrote a paragraph on it of the reasons why he chose it.

Watched, discussed and took notes on East and West Germany Meet the Germans video tour. Played Blooket reviewing vocabulary from the differences between Canada the US and Germany.

Continued watching Meet the Germans Part 2 Road Trip and discussed compared to North Germany weather, etc.
Also compared Vancouver Canada, Florida USA and Germany geographically at the start of class by looking at google maps.

Reviewed last class' video of Northern Germany, and then began watching the next "Meet the Germans" Road trip tour of Southern Germany and all of its cultural landmarks and traditions.

Ben worked on the Math fluency practice in which he solved several 2-step algebraic equations. He will complete it for homework.

Watched Meet the Germans part 1 Northern Germany learning about the geography and culture specific to the north as well as some history and foods from the region. Played Blooket refreshing foods for the last 5 minutes of class.
Hmwk. - project to work on tomorrow of project for food chapter - either video on cooking ie a short cooking lesson or show or shopping something German along with a written explanation for the video.
