Kept working on family project drawing and description, learned new vocabulary for extended family p 48 - 50 in the textbook. Practiced speaking new vocabulary and used flashcards with photos and Blooket to practice.
Listened to authentic German conversations to answer questions and fill in the blank regarding information about a person's name, address, telephone number etc. Learned difference between du and Die. Worked on project "Die Familie", a drawing and short descriptive paragraph.
Written, oral and listening exercises for Introduction to German - introducing yourself, asking how you are, what is your name, age, telephone number, where are you from, how are you doing etc.

Reviewed for test Hallo und Familie, Reviewed Google Slides Eigenschaften then Practiced vocabulary and speaking exercises using Quizlet matching and flashcards and conversation, and then played Blooket.
Continued with the Google Slides and handout going over traits and how to talk about your own personal traits and those of your family or friends. Ben read the paragraph in the handout and translated it on "Familie Stark". Did exercise matching traits to Familie Stark and discussed them. Learned the words for family, and then practiced flashcards on Quizlet for the terms for traits Eigenschaften.

The lesson went very well. Ben is a natural with German.
Google slides presentation of German vocabulary words for Characteristics/Traits with photos. Introduced the vocabulary and then discussed what words we would use to describe ourselves. Check off those that apply and asked questions "Bist du groß oder klein?" etc.
Reviewed the German student's meeting at Cafe Julia and answered 10 content questions regarding their meeting. ie who are they, where are they, what are they drinking, ages etc. First played Blooket using chunks of language to help refresh Ben's memory of the new vocabulary words in the video and as a "quiz" of his understanding of Chapter 1 vocabulary thus far.
Treffpunkt Berlin - Cafe Julia - signed in to Carnegie Learning w/ help of CL support tech and received new password for Ben. Navigated the site. Played Blooket with supporting new and old vocabulary for the video we are studying at the moment "Cafe Julia" which is used in conjunction with the CL online exercises - questions, fill in the blank etc we will do next week.
