Letters and sounds
Lesson Outline
Penny and I began our session focusing on the letters u, v, q, x. Penny traced the letters. She loved picking out what colors to use to trace her letters. We then completed a cut and paste activity, matching the picture with the correct beginning sound. Penny asked a question, wondering what two colors make when you combine them. Therefore, we completed an experiment with water and food coloring, combining two colors at a time. Penny traced the letters, y and z (uppercase and lowercase).
