Ethan is also still having difficulty navigating and closing windows on his computer. It caused him quite a lot of frustration and used up a significant amount of our session. He also did not follow my instructions which led to him clicking on the wrong things, ads popping up, and ultimately frustration and time wasted. He also tells me that he does not have Microsoft Word on his computer, so I'm having difficulty finding a way to practice typing without using a game on a website.
Bobby spent this class completing stage 10 of the BBC typing program. This stage introduces the keys: x, z, and the apostrophe. It also reviews everything he has learned so far in keyboarding.
Marina did very well on her typing program today. She was able to type an average of 13 words per minute with 92% accuracy. Her speed drop a little from last class. This was because this new lesson she began had longer and more challenging words. Marina finished class by playing some typing games (Typing Ninja and Balloon Typing). Great work today Marina!
Today Will and I began class by brainstorming which Washington D.C site he wanted to add to his presentation next. Will decided on adding the Supreme Court Building. We went online and found and printed out research on this building. We will add the information he printed out to his powerpoint next class!
