Despite the heat, Lucas and I had a great basketball session. He did a great job drilling some technique and working on his shooting (sinking several 3 pointers) at the beginning of class. He then wanted to show me a game called Double Bounce. The game served as a great movement and rebound drill and was a lot of fun to play. We played a few rounds and then went to cool off with some water and played ping pong in the shade for the last 10 minutes of class.

We did each exercise for 10-15 repetitions each.
We finished with a complete body stretch.
I gave Aiden this workout on paper so he can continue working out in the summer.

Today, I introduced PJ to a new full-body workout routine with dumbbells.
I also told him about the 4 exercises that will make him stronger for the rest of his life.
We started with a dumbbell exercise called the "farmer's carry."

It was particularly hot today so Lucas and I took it easy with a quick warm up and then spent some time working on 3 point shooting. Lucas did a great job dialing in his technique on the longer range shots and endeavored to get at least 3 baskets in a row. We then cooled off and got some water inside before playing ping pong in the shade for the last 15 minutes of class.
