Today, David worked on the Long Jump.
We started with some run-ups to the starting point.
Next, we worked on actually jumping and landing on the ground.
Finally, we videoed the jumps with a tape measure.
Today, PJ worked on his cardiovascular fitness goals by running on the perimeter of the field.
We started with a 4-lap jog.
We then did a 2-lap run.
We finished with a cooldown and a full-body stretch.
Today, PJ did a fitness run for almost 14 minutes.
This is by far the most challenging thing PJ has done this year in Physical Education.
He was actually able to pace himself and not go too fast or too slow.
We finished with a nice cool down.
David and I continue to work on our yearly fitness goals.
We started with a slow jog on the perimeter of the field.
We then did a workout for our upper and lower body.

Today, Nico and I worked on different basketball fundamentals.
We worked on all different types of dribbling with both hands.
We learned what a jump is and why it is important to know how to do this.
We then worked on some fundamental shooting with both the right and left hand.
We finished by shooting lay-ups on both sides of the basket.
We had a rainy yucky day here at school, so Aiden and I stayed inside and did a complete body workout inside.
We did some push-ups along with some dumbbells.
I challenged Aiden to push himself a little past his comfort zone and he responded beautifully.
Today, Nico and I did 3 fitness tests.
We started with a pacer test on the field.
Next, we did a sit-up test under the pavilion.
We finished with a wall-sit.
