Atticus and I continued to work on his new sketch for the mural. He did a great job working with the line work. He began to fill in color using the fill tool on the clothes. Then we went step-by-step to choose the shadow colors and create the shape of them. Then he used the fill tool to go ahead and finish them.
Atticus and I restarted his mural idea today. We worked on choosing a design and beginning to add the sketch. We worked on slowing down and making sure he didn't miss any line details. This took the entirety of class.

Atticus's original idea was from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure which i was informed was inappropriate and rated R. So I had him rework his idea to be school appropriate.
Today, Atticus and I reviewed thermal expansion and thermal contraction. We reviewed the Fahrenheit, Celsius and Kelvin temperature scales. Atticus watched a videos demonstrating thermal expansion and contraction and we discussed each property in terms of kinetic energy and particle motion.
Today, we expanded upon our recent equivalent ratio lesson to include using equivalent ratio tables to compare ratios. Atticus made ratio tables that continued until one of the corresponding terms was the same. Then, he compared the other terms to determine their quantities. Atticus quickly grasped this concept, completing the practice problems as well as the lesson's quick quiz, scoring 100%.
