I checked Cabo's Extra Credit work. Cabo and I conducted a verbal review of the content from our last session.

We also completed multiple exercises from the book.

Cabo was absent from our session today.

I guided Cabo through a brief review. I gave him some time to study vocabulary.

At 9:23, I administered the test.

Cabo did a good job being thorough in his approach to the test.

Cabo and I conducted a thorough review.

We reviewed sentences for the test. We studied vocabulary. We studied Cabo's essay as he will have a writing portion as part of his final exam.

We discussed this at length. He is aware that there will be a substantial writing portion of the exam and some of the possible topics for that obligation.

We again studied the vocabulary.

Cabo's main struggle for this chapter seems to be the vocabulary. His homework is to study vocabulary for his test.

Bobby and I read half of a chapter of his Isabella book.

We discussed the difference between a Cognate and a false Cognate and gave some examples of precarious false cognates.

Bobby worked on listening and on reading in Spanish

Cabo started the class with a Hydra exercise. He worked on 8 present progressive sentences.

He then worked on corrections in his essay.

Cabo completed a significant amount of work today!

We were able to complete 4 exercises from the book and he worked on a 5th portion for extra credit.

We read from the book as we prepared for each exercise.

He learned more vocabulary, and focused on the reflexive verbs.

Cabo completed review exercises from the text.

He worked on three different exercise groups.

Of special note, today was his second day of instantly transitioning from one exercise to the next.

We read 4 pages together. He worked on the exercises from the book.

He was focused and worked hard.

Cabo worked on his essay today.

He has such a compelling desire to communicate creatively. Where I would have talked other students back down into writing more within their current skill level, I instead pushed forward with Cabo for his 3 body paragraph helping to say more what he desired to express and teaching him along the way.

I will conduct follow-up later on with these more advanced concepts to see if he has retained the information.
