Anna and Quinn practiced creating and deconstructing contractions. They also matched contractions with the correct original word pairs and wrote complete sentences using contractions.
WE discussed the spelling and meaning of topography. At the library, we looked at the topographical globe and a physical map of the United States. Using colored pencils, Quinn and Anna began to map out their United States topographical maps.

Lesson Outline
Since it had been a while since we had yoga class, we reviewed class policies and practiced many poses that Anna and Quinn had learned. We also added new poses and challenges: bow, king cobra. Exercise balls: jackknives and pushups. We counted number of times, and Anna and Quinn both strived to do their best. We ended class with some lavender oil on the stuffed flowers and a relaxation to music.
First, Ana and Quinn learned what a Venn diagram is. We compared dogs and cats. Then, we moved on to comparing the poles to the equator. I drew the diagram on the board while they drew on their own Venn diagrams.
