Christopher worked well with a peer in the last half hour of today's session. He and the other student were asked to choose from an array of academic games and both agreed upon one. They were apprised of the basic premise and objective of the game, and worked cooperatively, reviewing the basic rules, scoring, and taking turns. Both were amenable to suggestions and championed the others' successes. It was a fun and productive way to end the day in a competitive yet collaborative spirit.

I was asked to include Christopher for the last 1/2 hour of today's session (3/9, from 2:00- 2:30). Christopher worked well with Jayne and there was a lot of laughter and competitive banter as they learned and played a game together. Sebastian was called in for just a few minutes to apprise the two of the rules. They all got along and the session proceeded well.
This morning, Richard and I played a game of Candy Land with his fellow classmate Matthew. This game is a fun way to practice turn-taking, social skills, counting, handling disappointment (when they get a card that sends them back a few steps), understanding directions, and following rules.
Dutch participated. in physical education to improve his health, for large and small motor skill, eye-hand coordination, and for the development of a strong and healthy school community. Before starting this Physical Education period, we went over several safety and fair play rules. Along with three other students he played “Sharks and Minnows” a tag game where one student (the shark) chases the rest of the students (the minnows).
Then we (the students and I) created an obstacle course. They completed the obstacle course 4 times trying to improve their record each time.
Lastly, we reviewed the rules of ping pong and we proceeded to play.

design replication and deductive reasoning guessing
Lesson Outline
Zeta enjoyed a game in which she needed to replicate designs using a series of colored cups. The designs got increasingly more complex. We also played 'Guess Who'. Zeta needed to guess the character I had by asking questions that eliminated the other characters.
