Libby learned and practiced several yoga poses today: butterfly, mountain, fish, cat, cow, downward dog, table, mouse, and even a supported handstand! We incorporated deep, slow breaths in and out with each pose. She loved it, and is a natural!
I demonstrated the balloon breathing exercise to Teddy. I pulled out 5 easy yoga poses for kids cards and demonstrated them to him: mountain, moon, downhill skier, flagpole and chair. We practiced the following poses together: butterfly, rock pose, head rolls, sitting toe-touch, and side stretches.
