Richard did well on sentence dictation. We continue to work on word spacing. He matched pictures to their initial blend. We continue to practice rhyme production, identification of initial and medial sounds and phoneme manipulation. Richard read a short passage and completed sentences about the text. Given different containers, Richard was able to determine which held more or less. Richard did well with adding and subtracting. Additionally, he completed a spiral practice of math skills.

Richard did well coloring pictures that matched given initial blends. We continue to practice rhyme production, identifying initial, medial and final sounds and phoneme manipulation. Richard enjoyed listening to, 'Knuffle Bunny'. Print and plot elements were identified and discussed. Richard wrote about one of his stuffed animals in his journal. Unit cubes were used to measure length and width. Richard did well on a spiral review of skills learned. We continue to practice counting by tens and stating the days of the week and months of the year.

Richard enjoyed using blocks as units of measurement to determine width and height of given objects and pictures. He did well on both number dictation 0-99 and on a spiral practice of skills learned. We continue to practice addition with numbers 0-10. Richard earned a 93% on cumulative online 'Reading Eggs' assessment.

Richard read a short passage that focused on -at family words. He was pleased with how well he completed sentences about the passage. Comparing lengths was practiced. Richard did well subtracting numbers ten and under. We will continue to practice to increase speed and confidence. He earned a 100% on a spiral practice of skills learned.

We played an addition game that involved helping the bear get back to his cave. Given three pictures, Matthew did well identifying the two that rhymed. Given a capital or lower case letter, Matthew was tasked with writing the corresponding letter.

Richard confidently identified measurement concepts of biggest, smallest, longest and largest. Medium sized was introduced. Richard worked hard ordering given numbers from least to greatest and completing a spiral review of skills learned. He used the counting up method to complete math problems. Additionally, he enjoyed working on sight words online.
