The session commenced a few minutes late this morning, as Chris arrived late to school. He rapidly initiated conversation as he shared, "I'm sorry I'm late today, I have so much to tell you, I have to get it all in." He was excited as he described his ongoing computer, and gaming endeavors that he has been focusing on over the last few days. Use of cohesive ties was strong as he provided numerous details regarding his projects. Allowance for increased questioning within conversation was notably increased, as pause time, and responses to inquiries were noted with increased frequency today. Chris was able to provide strong inferences, and predict outcomes given hypothetical scenarios when provided with cue supports with 65% and 70% accuracy respectively. Strong session today.

Chris was eager to initiate conversation once again this morning. He was very much wanting to share lots of "news" as the session commenced. Review of the aspects of presupposition and perspective taking supported elaboration of detail and clarification of intention across conversational exchanges and short narratives. Speaker -listener exchanges were characterized by increased allowance for reciprocity, and decreased instances of overlap. Topic shifting was characterized by use of familiar transitional phrases following the provision of subtle cues.
Strong session today .

Richard had a great session today. He worked on TH in the initial, medial and final position of words. He continues to improve in his accuracy at the sentence level but in conversation he requires cues.

Richard also attempted to meet two of his other goals today- combining sentences and reading comprehension. These were challenging due to his difficulties/ avoidance of reading. He said he did not want to continue today as it was too hard.
